Movement Ecosystem Deep Dive Webinar
As early investors in Movement Labs, Interop Ventures is pleased to host an investor webinar on the Movement ecosystem on October 15th, 2024, ahead of its mainnet launch.
🗓 Date: October 15th, 2024
⏰ Time: 17:00 UTC (9 AM PST, 12 PM EST, 6 PM CET)
Movement Labs is among the most anticipated Defi ecosystems launching this year. Founders Rushi Manche and Cooper Scanlon made headlines this year when they raised over $40 from top crypto VCs and secured $400 million in liquidity commitments from whales and institutions. The project is expected to launch in November and will be one of the biggest network launches of 2024.
Building a network of Move-based modular blockchains is central to Movement’s vision. While the EVM is notoriously insecure and has suffered from tens of billions of dollars in hacked funds, Move takes a different approach to security, making assets first-class citizens.
Currently in testnet, dozens of projects are expected to launch on Movement’s flagship Ethereum rollup. Many teams have chosen to build sovereign Move-based rollups using the Movement SDK.
